From half day to full day offerings, we are looking to develop all types of skills and offer lots of ways for our summer campers to have a great time. We are proud to offer summer camps that will actively encourage play, skill building, and creativity all summer long.

Camper Sign In & Sign Out:
Camp Times:

*Drop Off begins 15 minutes before camp starts; Pick Up begins 15 minutes before camp ends.

Full Day Camp: Sign In 8:45am – 9:00am; Sign Out 3:45pm – 4:00pm

Half Day AM: Sign In 8:45am – 9:00am; Sign Out 11:45am – 12:00pm

Half Day PM: Sign In 12:45 – 1:00pm; 3:45pm – 4:00pm

More detailed Sign In & Sign Out information will be emailed to all parents the Thursday prior to your camper’s week of camp.

Camper Sign In & Sign Out will be moved to our North Soccer Field (click here to see a map) to allow for 1.) more social distancing & 2.) one-way traffic among all campers and parents. All parents will be asked the following screening questions prior to drop off and must answer NO for the camper to be accepted into camp.

  • Have you or anyone in your house traveled to another country in the last 14 days?
  • Have you been in contact with someone under investigation for, or with a confirmed case of coronavirus?
  • Have you or a family member been instructed to self-quaratine?
  • Are you experiencing symptoms of illness? If so, what are the symptoms?

 

Our 2021 Covid-19 Protocols have not been finalized, as we continue to monitor the developments of the pandemic locally, regionally, and nationally to anticipate how it may affect camp. We will continue to consult with the YMCA of the USA and American Camp Association to keep appraised of the best practices being followed by other YMCA programs.  

Here is a list of steps taken during summer 2020 to keep all of our children and staff safe:

  • Reduced camper capacity 
  • Camper pods that socially distanced from other groups at all times and within their group as much as possible
  • Campers & Staff wore Face Masks
  • Temperature Checks during Camp Sign In for all Campers & Staff

 

All non-Covid-19 related Camp Cancellation Requests must be submitted by email to the Camp Director at least two weeks prior to your camper’s scheduled camp in order to receive a full refund. Please send all camp cancellation requests to JaMarcus Gibson at Jamarcus.Gibson@ymcastaff.org.  

Cancellation requests received within two weeks of the start of your camper’s camp will be subject to a $20 cancellation fee plus the cost of any field trips/extra fees associated with the camp. No refunds are given after the camp has started for the week.

A full refund will be provided for Covid-19 cancellations, as long as the week of camp has not started. Please contact JaMarcus Gibson if you have any questions regarding our cancellation policy.

 

  1. Our Health History form will be available soon on your Parent Dashboard. This is due at least 1 week before your camper’s first week of camp (although we really appreciate families that can complete it early and give us more time to review.)  Click Here to visit your Parent Dashboard, and you can find the form in your Forms and Documents section. All campers must have a 2021 Health History form on file to be accepted into camp.
  2. If your camper is enrolled in our Before & After Camp program in Lebanon or Landen, please complete all the required Before & After forms on your parent dashboard. All the forms are labeled Before & After. If your child is already enrolled into our year-round Primetime program, you do not need to complete these forms.

Is lunch provided?

With the exception of our Horseback Riding Camps, lunch is not provided by Camp Countryside.  Parents are responsible for packing their camper a healthy lunch every day that does not require reheating or refrigeration.  
We are not a peanut free camp but please be mindful of common allergies when packing your child’s lunch.

  • Bug Spray

 

Before & After Camp care is provided by Countryside YMCA licensed child care programs in Lebanon and Landen. Campers will engage in fun crafts, activities, games, and relaxation! Breakfast is provided during Before Camp and snack is provided during After Camp.
