室外游泳池

The Outdoor Pool will not open if the air temperature is less than 70°F, the water temperature is less than 75°F, or thunder and/or lightning have occurred within the last 30 minutes. We would close the pool for weather if we cannot see the bottom of the pool or we hear thunder/ see lightning (or if there is a lightning strike within 10 miles). For thunder and lightning, we will close for 30 minutes from the last sighting. We will clear everyone from the pool deck, and they can go to the pavilion or their cars. Our Aquatic Coordinators will make a case-by-case game-time decision to move inside if the storms look aggressive or prolonged. If it is just a quick weather interruption, we will remain outside and reopen when the safe time has passed, while watching the weather closely for the rest of the day.
