3 Reasons you should try Group Fitness at the Y

1. Accountability

Fitness classes keep you accountable so that you stay on the right track. It’s not always easy to find the motivation to exercise. When others expect you to show up for class, it gives you that little extra push to get up and get moving.

2. A Sense of Community

Group fitness classes create a sense of community. You’ll meet new people and make new friends. Everyone in the class is going through this experience and journey together. Over time, class members can develop tight bonds and lifelong friendships.

3. Safety and Form

Group classes are led by experienced professionals who can give you pointers on your form. Learning how to perform exercises properly can help prevent injury now and in the future. The feedback from your teacher can go a long way in ensuring that you’re exercising safely and effectively.
