Hours of Operation 

The Outdoor Pools at Countryside Y opens Memorial Day Weekend (12-5pm) & Closes Labor Day Weekend (12-5pm). For Countryside YMCA members, the normal hours of operation at the outdoor pool are:

Monday - Friday: 4:00pm - 8:00pm

Saturday: 11:00am - 6:45 pm

Sunday: 12:00pm - 5:45pm

*Holiday weekends (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) 12:00pm-5:00pm
Nationwide Members (reciproical members) are welcome at 1:00pm. 
The pool hours can be affected by special events and weather; always check the calendar below for daily updates.

Please familiarize yourself with our pool policies, swim test and wristbands before joining us at the outdoor pool so that we can all enjoy a safe place at the Y.

Weather Guidelines for Closing the outdoor pool 

    • air temperature is less than 70°F
    • water temperature is less than 75°F
    • thunder and/or lightning has occurred within the last 30 minutes
    • visibility is poor; the pool closes for heavy fog
    • the water and air quality is below health code regulations

Who can use the outdoor pool?

  • Children under age 5 must have an adult 18 years or older in the water within arms reach and actively involved in the supervision of the child.

  • Children between the ages of 6 and 9 years old must have an adult 18 years old or older providing supervision at any pool.

  • Members Age 10 + are welcome! 

  • Full Countryside YMCA members 16 years of age or older can use a guest pass to bring a guest. All guests must be accompanied by the member. 

    At our Lebanon facility, the following pricing applies for guest passes:
    Youth one-day pass - $7
    Adult one-day pass - $10
    Family one-day pass - $15 

  • Nationwide Members are welcome starting at 1:00 pm. Nationwide Members cannot bring guests.

  • Lap swimming is for members ages 13 and over. Swimmers between 6 and 12 years old, having passed the swim test, may swim laps with an adult as long as they are continuously swimming laps.

    How do I access the outdoor pool? 

    Access to the Outdoor Pool will be from the Outdoor Pool entrance only.  The exit doors from the Wet Hall are closed and cannot be used to enter or exit the building (except for an emergency).

    Please park in the Outdoor Pool Parking lot.   

    Please have each member of your family’s membership card ready to scan.  All youth ages 6 – 12 years old will scan their card at the “Kids Scan” scanner for age verification and swim wristband.

    Please familiarize yourself with our pool policies, swim test and wristbands, we will be enforcing all pool policies including dress code, safety and supervision, and swim tests. 

    Outdoor Pool Activities 

  • Diving Board OPEN when pool is open.

  • Outdoor Baby Pool OPEN when pool is open.
  • Water Slide OPEN when staffing allows.

Deck chairs are out around each pool deck; however, you are welcome to bring your own deck chair or blanket to the Outdoor Pool. Restrooms and showers are available. 

Snack shack hours vary. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks to the pool.  Absolutely no glass containers, alcohol or tobacco use of any kind is permitted.  The picnic tables in the Pool Pavilion are available for use.
