Check-in and Check-out Procedures for Child Watch:

  • Sign-in will happen just outside of Child Watch. Parents will not be permitted into Child Watch.

  • Staff will check the temperature of the parent and child at arrival. If either the parent and/or the child has a fever of 100 degrees or higher, the child will not be permitted to stay in Child Watch or at the Y.

  • Due to regulations that limit the number of children we can safely have in the Child Watch space in our Lebanon location, some children may be moved to another room in the Y, likely the Motion Zone, as necessary to maintain mandated limits.

  • We will do our best within childwatch to encourage distancing, but recognize the challenge of doing so with children. This area is covered by the standards provided by the Governor for childcares. Each section will have a maximum of 9 children to promote distancing.

  • The Team Leader signs in your child using: child's name and age; parent or adult's name; parent's location in the facility; a secondary person designated to sign out child; the time of sign-in.

  • No one can pick up a child unless their name was provided during check in, they have a photo ID, and are at least 16.
