Countryside Members,

It is my intention to always be as transparent as possible with you, our Countryside YMCA members, so I feel the need to share a current difficulty we are facing and to ask for your help and support.
 
I am sure you are familiar with the ongoing struggle across our nation in staffing shortages.  Our YMCA is facing the same issue.  We currently have openings in a number of areas, but our most pertinent needs are housekeeping, childcare and lifeguards.  
 
I have 2 requests to share:
 
1. Would you or anyone you know be interested in joining our staff team?  Please see this link, Employment Opportunities, for our current openings and share with those who may have potential.  
 
2. I would also ask for your understanding.  Our team is doing all we can to overcome the current shortages.   We are stretching our staff to cover areas and times beyond their normal expectation.  Our goal is to provide you, our members, with the level of service you have come to expect, but in the event we fall short, I ask for your patience and understanding.
 
We have been through so much together over the past two years and I remain confident we will see through the end of this together.  Thank you for your support and encouragement.  As always, please reach out to me with any comments or questions.
