Winter weather brings questions about whether or not the Y is open and classes are running. Here’s our policy.

When a weather emergency happens (including a Level 1 or 2 Snow Emergency), we will make any Countryside YMCA facility closing decision based upon road conditions. That means classes may be running even if schools are closed.

Be sure to check for updates on local TV, Countryside YMCA Facebook page, Countryside YMCA | Landen Facebook page; and this website. Or call the Lebanon facility at 513-932-1424.

In the event of a Level 3 snow emergency, the YMCA will not open; this includes Child Care and Prime Time programs.

Parents of children in Childcare programs will be notified of any weather related closures via mass communication (One Call). However, in the event of a School District closure due to weather (Lebanon, Little Miami or Clinton Massie), the Childcare and school age programs will open with a one-hour delay operating from 7:30 am – 6:00 pm.

Toddlers and children up to age six love playing in this space. With about 100 large foam blocks to work with, their imaginations come to life as they build castles, forts, and playhouses. Creating obstacle courses is another way to have fun and work hard kid style. Available for member use only.

Maximum occupancy is 15 people. Parent or guardian must be in the gym area. No food or drink in this area.

Countryside YMCA has converted our turf court to a Golf Center! From driver to putter, we now have a rentable place to practice and improve your golf game. Available for member use only.
