Foster & Kinship Care Memberships

At Countryside YMCA, we’re proud to support foster and kinship families who open their hearts and homes to children in need of care and connection.

While the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) funding for free memberships has concluded, Countryside YMCA continues to honor a special membership rate of $40 per month for eligible foster, kinship, and Bridges program participants.

This rate is offered through our Financial Assistance program and ensures that families continue to have access to the Y’s welcoming spaces, programs, and community.

Who’s Eligible

Certified Foster Families – Provide a copy of your current JFS 01213 Notice of Approval for Foster Home.

Approved Kinship Caregivers – Provide a letter from your approving agency (on letterhead) confirming good standing and current placement.

Bridges Participants – Provide a copy of your Bridges Voluntary Participation Agreement and a letter from your Bridges grantee confirming current enrollment.

How to Enroll

Bring your documentation to the membership desk at any Countryside YMCA location. Our staff will guide you through the process to receive the $40 monthly rate.
