Countryside YMCA invites you to join us on Tuesday, November 11, at 12:00 PM in the Main Gym for our annual Veterans Day Celebration. This free community event honors the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces with a full military protocol program, live music, and a complimentary hot lunch and dessert table following the ceremony.
Highlights of the program include:
- Presentation of the Colors by Little Miami High School JROTC
- Performances by the Little Miami Select Choir and the Lebanon High School Wind Ensemble
- A 21-gun salute by the Warren County Sheriff’s Department Honor Guard and Pipe & Drum Corps
This year’s special guest, Congressman Greg Landsman, will announce the Veteran of the Year for Warren and Hamilton Counties. We especially welcome veterans, their spouses, and their children to be part of this meaningful celebration.
Flags for Heroes
In addition, our Flags for Heroes display will fill the YMCA lawn with American flags to honor loved ones who have served. Flags may be dedicated for a $5 donation, with proceeds helping to support this special event.
