Volunteer: Special Olympics Ohio Regional Cornhole & Healthy Athletes

Be part of something special at Countryside YMCA in Lebanon, Ohio on Saturday, September 13, 2025! We’re teaming up with Special Olympics Ohio, celebrating their 50th Anniversary, to host the Southwest Regional Cornhole Event—our very first at the Y. It will be a fun, uplifting day supporting athletes as they try out this growing sport.

💙 How You Can Help

We need volunteers (ages 14+) to make this event a success. No prior experience is required—just bring your energy and a smile! Every volunteer receives a free event shirt.

Here are the ways you can get involved:

• Check-In & Welcome (9:15 AM – 12:30 PM)
  Greet athletes and volunteers, help with sign-in, and keep things running smoothly.

• Athlete Support & Scoring (9:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
  Assist athletes during games and keep score.
• Healthy Athletes: Strong Minds (9:30 AM – 3:00 PM, lunch provided)
  Talk with athletes about mental health, stress management, and coping skills.
• Healthy Athletes: General Support (9:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
  Hand out incentives, guide participants to screenings, and help staff as needed.
