National Day of Prayer Warren County

The National Day of Prayer was established by President Harry S. Truman in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress. The mission of the National Day of Prayer is to mobilize unified public prayer for America. The task force created “represented a Judeo-Christian expression of national observance, based on the understanding that the United States of America was birthed in prayer and in reverence for the God of the Bible,” according to the National Day of Prayer website.

Glorify God Among the Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations.”Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.” 1 Chronicles 16:24
