Competitive Gymnastics Tryouts

Once a year our Countryside YMCA Girls’ Competitive Gymnastics Team hosts a tryout for ages 6-18. If your child is currently enrolled in gymnastics in one of our advanced or intermediate class we encourage you to tryout. The YMCA gymnastics team competes at local, state, regional, and national levels. The gymnasts range in age from 6 to 18 and compete in levels 3-9.

Although gymnasts compete individually, they are considered a part of a team. Team members are a source of encouragement, motivation, and support. Team members learn that treating other gymnasts with respect is of the utmost importance. And along the way, our gymnasts forge lifelong friendships while improving their gymnastics skills.
