Make New Friends Hiking

Cold-weather hiking is uniquely enjoyable, and this winter we’ll visit some regional tri-state parks. These day trips offer a great opportunity to explore new trails, enjoy quieter and more open winter landscapes, and connect with others who enjoy getting outdoors.

Nature in the Midwest’s winter months offers different perspectives, with unobstructed views of the terrain, fewer bugs, and a more peaceful hiking experience. Locations may include Shawnee State Park, Red River Gorge, and Zaleski State Forest (locations to be confirmed). So layer up and let’s go hiking!

You do not have to be a member of Countryside YMCA to participate.
*Must be age 18 or older.

Registration opens January 12. Closing dates vary by hike date.
