El Día Nacional de la Oración fue establecido por el Presidente Harry S. Truman en 1952 mediante una resolución conjunta del Congreso de los Estados Unidos. Through the work of several individuals, including Lucy McCarren, Susan Huddleson, Katherine Brewer, Dennis Bunnell, A. Carolyn Sanders, and Georgie Clark, Warren County has been recognizing this national event for the past 28 years. Leaders from throughout Warren County will be reading scriptures. To date the following individuals have participated: Bill DeLord, Randy Kuvin, Marcus Shelton, Josh Patrick, Becky Iverson, Pastor Steve Cramer, Barry Riley, Jonathan Westendorf, Chris Koch, Tom Isaacs, Kim Bilbrey, Shawn Acrey, and Amy Fornshell.
