There’s room for you in our creative community #inspiringcreativity
The arts are an important part of developing imagination, critical thinking, communication, and social skills. Here at Countryside YMCA, we offer classes in cooking, dance, music, pottery, crafting/art, and children’s theater. We offer regular Safe Sitter workshops as well as workshops in pottery and cooking. There’s more to the YMCA than just sports! We believe everyone should have a safe place to develop artistic talents. We strive to provide a welcoming environment where members can feel comfortable expressing themselves. When you participate in the arts, you develop confidence, problem-solving, perseverance, focus, nonverbal communication, and collaboration skills. And learning new creative skills with other imaginative people means you are sure to make new friends.
Find Your Voice, Discover Your Talents, & Reach Your Potential
Register online or stop by the front desk to register in person. Once registered, your automatic payment will occur on the 1st of every month. If at any time you wish to cancel registration, you will fill out a withdrawal request form by the 20th of the month. Your child’s enrollment will then expire at the end of that month. You can not sign up in advance for future months until after the 25th of the current month.
Private Lessons
At Countryside YMCA, we believe creativity is for everyone. Our private lessons in piano, guitar, clogging, and sewing give you one-on-one instruction tailored to your interests and skill level. Whether you’re picking up a new hobby, refining your technique, or exploring a lifelong passion, our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way. Develop new skills, build confidence, and express yourself in a supportive, family-friendly environment.
