Mammograms: Mobile Mammography (Mammovan)

Visit the mobile mammography coach from Premier Health and Atrium Medical Center. If you haven’t had your mammogram in the last 12 months, here’s your chance. You’ll experience the same quality, technology, and comfort that’s available at our breast center. Board-certified radiologists from Atrium Medical Center review images. No doctor’s order is needed for a screening mammogram for women 40 and over. Appointments are required, call (855) 887-7364 to schedule yours.

COA Council of Aging Programs & Events

Tai Chi

Countryside YMCA and the Council on Aging are partnering to offer an in-person Tai Chi. Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese exercise program that promotes strength, flexibility, and balance to help you better manage arthritis and lower your risk of experiencing a fall. You’ll learn:

  • Warm-up and cool-down exercises
  • 1-2 core movements per session (8 weeks total)
  • Breathing techniques
  • Principles relating to improving physical and mental balance

Classes meet twice a week for eight weeks. Adults age 50 and over participate for free. Older adults and caregivers are welcome!

Diabetes Self-Management Workshop

Countryside YMCA and the Council on Aging are partnering to offer an in-person Diabetes Self-Management Workshop! In our Diabetes Self-Management Workshop, participants will learn techniques to deal with symptoms of diabetes such as fatigue, pain, hyper- and hypoglycemia, stress, and emotional problems such as depression, anger, fear, and frustration.

Hoxworth Blood Drive

Next Blood Drive: Wednesday, March 26, 2025 | 10:00am – 12:45pm & 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Help save a life! Donate blood at the next mobile blood drive. The Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati was founded in 1938 and serves over 30 hospitals and medical facilities in the Tri-State. Annually, Hoxworth collects more than 90,000 units of blood from local donors to help save the lives of patients in area hospitals. Hoxworth Blood Center. All types are welcome. They will be set up in the Event Center at Countryside YMCA in Lebanon. Every donor will receive a Cyclones hoodie + Cyclones jersey + Cyclones voucher for a pair of tickets.

Upcoming Event: Trek Around the Clock

Countryside YMCA Nature Trail in Lebanon, OH

The Trek Around the Clock is a 24-hour hiking fundraiser where every step you take makes a difference! This 24-hour hiking fundraiser consists of 2-mile loops on the Countryside YMCA trails. Our goal for this event is to have at least one Rosie moving nonstop for 24 hours. Sherpas and hikers can sign up for 1-hour shifts to help make this possible. Participants of all experience levels are welcome. Participation in this fundraiser requires a $50 donation or pledge. Register by April 7 to guarantee your event shirt.

Neighborhood Bridges was created to respond to the growing rate of poverty in suburban and rural America. Their mission is to bridge communities with schools by providing basic needs, removing barriers, and seeking equity for students so they can engage and succeed in school and life.
