During the academic year, we provide before and after school care for youth in kindergarten through fifth grade. Our vision is for all Countryside YMCA childcare programs to be the leaders in building children of character. Through the use of  "The Creative Curriculum" our program encompasses the YMCA core valuse of caring, honesty, respoct, reponsibility, and faith.

Program Highlights

• A variety of activities provide opportunities for children to grow cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically and creatively.
• Children develop a positive self-concept through a balance of self-directed and teacher-assisted activities.
• Group and individual play activities help promote decision-making, self-confidence, responsible behavior, and self-control.
• All bussing provided to and from by the Little Miami School district. 

New Guidelines for Child Care Programs to Help Slow the Spread of Covid-19

• There currently is no mask mandate in our school-age programs; however, this is subject to change based on information received and rules set forth by Governor DeWine and/or ODJFS Child Care Licensing.

• We adhere to the Staff-child ratios and group sizes determined by the Ohio Department of Jobs and Familiy Services; there are currently no required modifications.  Staff practices social distancing and plans age appropriate social distancing activities.

• Staff and children follow rigorous handwashing throughout the day.

• There is frequent cleaning and sanitizing of high traffic areas throughout the day.
