Guidelines for Child Care Programs to Help Slow the Spread of Communicable Disease

  • Health screenings and temperature checks will be done if a child appears ill. Children and staff must have a temperature below  100.4 to participate that day. There currently is no mask mandate in our school-age programs; however, this is subject to change based on information received and rules set forth by Governor DeWine and/or ODJFS Child Care Licensing.

  • We adhere to the Staff-child ratios and group sizes determined by the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services; there are currently no required modifications.  Staff practices social distancing and plans age-appropriate social distancing activities.

  • Staff and children follow rigorous handwashing throughout the day.

  • There is frequent cleaning and sanitizing of high traffic areas throughout the day.

Closings and Delays Policy

• If Lebanon Schools are closed due to weather conditions, then the preschool is closed.
