Countryside YMCA in Lebanon, Ohio offers a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. our Step Up to Quality star-rated program is designed to meet the needs of families with children ages Kindergarten through sixth grade.

We also offer a part time Preschool Enrichment program for children ages three to five years old.

Our vision is for all Countryside YMCA childcare programs to be the leaders in building children of character. Our program encompasses the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and faith.

We offer:

  • Preschool Enrichment - part time preschool program billed monthly (see rate sheet).

  • Before & After School - during the school year Kindergarten through sixth grade.

  • Summer Adventure - A summer program for school age children grades K–4

     

Part Time Preschool Enrichment Program Highlights:

  • Our Preschool Enrichment program in Lebanon is in session September through May in conjunction with the Lebanon City School schedule.
  • Operates in the building across the street from the main Countryside YMCA (1618 Deerfield Rd).
  • Our program focuses on Kindergarten Readiness, self-help skills and character development. The classes are 2 1/2 hours (AM & PM).
  • The 3 yr. old classes are Tue/Thur & 4/5 yr. old classes are 3 days per week Mon/Wed/Fri.
  • Low student-to-teacher ratio.

 

School Age Before & After School Care Program Highlights:

  • During the academic year, we provide before and after school care for youth in kindergarten through sixth grade in the Lebanon City school district. Our vision is for all Countryside YMCA childcare programs to be the leaders in building children of character. Our program encompasses the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and faith.
  • A variety of activities provide opportunities for children to grow cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically and creatively. Children develop a positive self-concept through a balance of self-directed and teacher-assisted activities.

 

Summer Adventure – Summer School Age Care Program Highlights:

  • This program is a structured program, only for children Kindergarten through fourth grade. The older children should be ready for regular summer day camp at the main YMCA.
  • Fun, engaging summer care while school is out
  • Off-site field trips
  • Swimming at the main YMCA building
  • Must have completed kindergarten

 

Tuition

  • Upon enrollment there is a non-refundable registration fee that will secure your childcare spot. This fee is for each child enrolled. A child is not considered enrolled until the registration fee is paid in full.
  • Bank draft is the only payment method. Tuition payments can be drafted from your checking account, savings account or credit card. This payment method will be drafted bi-weekly. This will make it easy for you to pay your childcare fee automatically, at absolutely no cost to you.
  • Tuition is due on draft Friday for the upcoming two weeks.
  • Our program is a not-for-profit organization. We base our operating cost on annual registration projections. In order to continually assure the highest quality of staff, equipment and supplies, we cannot offer reductions in our fees for absences due to illness, school delays, and delays changing to closures, holidays, inclement weather conditions or vacations.

 

Closings and Delay Policy

  • Parents will be notified through our mass communication system of any delays or closures.
  • Any time Lebanon City Schools are closed due to weather conditions, the program will automatically operate on a one-hour delay and will begin at 7:30am. If there is a change or deviation to this policy, parents will be notified through our mass communication system of any delays or closures.
  • If Warren County is under a level II or III weather emergency, the program will be closed.
