Discover new heights—in nature and in faith.
From winter hikes to summer mountain summits, there’s an Ascend adventure for everyone.
Monthly Winter Hikes
Cold-weather hiking is uniquely enjoyable, and this winter we’ll visit some regional tri-state parks. On these day trips, we’ll explore trails at places like Shawnee State Park, Red River Gorge, and Zaleski State Forest (locations to be confirmed).
Nature in the Midwest’s winter months offers different perspectives when covered with snow and ice, and you’ll find it quieter, bug-free, and with unobstructed views of the terrain. So layer up and let’s go hiking!
Thursday, January 29 – Registration opens 1/12
