Being able to protect yourself in different situations brings self assurance, confidence, and some peace of mind. In this self-defense class you will learn self-defense moves from experienced Martial Arts instructor Master Peter Hirt.  Master Hirt structures the class so that people of all ages and abilities can learn self-defense techniques that will build skills to keep you safer. You will likely be surprised at how powerful you can be once you have learned a few simple insights and some "street smart"  self-defense techniques. Master Hirt also teaches Judo here at Countryside YMCA. He has a 5th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and 4th Degree Black Belt in Judo.
