Sports and martial arts are a great way for children and adults to learn skills that make them feel more comfortable, happy and confident in their day-to-day lives. We encourage parents to sign their children up for any sports classes that interest them to find a sport that they like and enjoy. Learning new skills, about new sports and what sports a child likes or dislikes can help set them up for success in the future. Sports and activities at the Y are fun, engaging and designed to encourage kids to come to classes. Throughout each session, vital skills related to the sport are learned, and kids will hone their coordination, technique and also build strength and flexibility.
