Take your workout outdoors this spring and summer and experience all the benefits of fitness with a dose of fresh air and sunshine. Outdoor fitness, also known as "green exercise" has been shown to boost your mood, reduce depression and even enhance self-esteem. During this one hour class offered exclusively to Countryside YMCA members, participants will be challenged at fitness stations along our 2.3 mile of nature trail. We'll mix in lunges, squats, shoulder presses, sprints, hill repeats, & more! Your whole body will get a workout as you complete strength, balance, and endurance exercises. All levels of fitness are welcome. Come appropriately dressed as class will be outdoors rain or shine. Exercise stations will include:
Ninja Rope Course, includes rings & rope knots
