Whether you've never thrown a punch, or you've been boxing for years, this full-body kickboxing circuit workout is for you! You'll work through 8 different stations doing different exercises – punches and kicks - at each station to complete a full body workout in about 30 minutes. There will always be a trainer in the room to both assist with form and to help you get the absolute most out of your workout.
You can enter the circuit at any time during the open hours. Bring your own gloves and hand wraps if you have them. Otherwise, the Y has both gloves and hand wraps available. There will be one person per station, and a boxing timer will sound when it's time for the next round to begin and you can jump in with the guidance of the trainer.
Workouts will be listed on whiteboards located at each station and they will change often.
With a high energy mix of music to motivate you and a variety of stations to keep you moving, this is a cardio and strength circuit that will benefit anybody willing to try it.
