The YMCA Ninja program is a fun, fast-moving, athletic training program designed to develop strength, coordination, balance, speed, power, and self-confidence. Speed training equipment and drills, plyometric training, and body strength training prepare athletes of all abilities for obstacle courses set up in the gym.
Ninjas aged 5-6 years will have the opportunity to run, jump, balance, and climb in this fast-paced athletic environment. Students will develop speed, balance, and an awareness of their own body strength while also developing listening skills and building friendships in this one day a week class. Proper form and use of equipment will be taught and expected of all participants.
Ninjas aged 7-9 years will have the opportunity to jump, balance, climb, and swing in this fast-paced class. Students will develop their strength, agility, and self-confidence as they are challenged by our 14 foot warped wall and salmon ladder. Proper form and use of equipment will be taught and expected of all participants.
Ninjas aged 10-14 will have the opportunity to run, jump, climb, swing, and hang in this fast-paced, challenging class. Students will develop whole body strength and speed while working through and conquering obstacles designed to test them. Proper form and use of equipment will be taught and expected of all participants.
This class is designed to develop strength, coordination, balance, speed, power, and self-confidence. Speed training equipment and drills, plyometric training, and body strength training prepare athletes of all abilities for obstacle courses set up in the gym. This class is for children looking for outside of the home activities to supplement their school day.
Ninjas of all ages, 16+ years old, will engage in fun, fast-paced, events designed to challenge and improve their strength, speed, power, selfconfidence. Participants will use equipment as they are ready, including the 14 foot warped wall and salmon ladder. Proper form and use of equipment will be taught and expected of all participants.

For all ninja/gymnastics programs, please wear elastic waist shorts with a t-shirt (no zippers, belts, or buckles). No jewelery except post earrings.
