Just because the kids are out of school doesn’t mean the learning has to stop! Here at the Countryside YMCA we have a long tradition of offering classes and workshops over our Winter Break. This year our Sports department and our Arts & Education department have lots of opportunities for learning. Choose to spend some of your winter break doing Nerf®, cooking, crafting, STEM activites and learning about Christmas around the world. If you sign up for both the morning and afternoon sessions on winter break days, kids are welcome to stay through lunch (bring your own).

If you or your child are under an isolation or quarantine order from the health department on a winter break day you are registered for, you are not permitted to be a the YMCA until the order expires, and thus your child cannot come to those winter break days.
Do a healthy self-check before you leave home and stay home if you are ill or you have symptoms of COVID-19.
Arrive no more than 15 minutes before the winter break class begins.
Children are required to wear masks at winter break days, unless otherwise given permission by the instructor to remove them. Staff will be wearing masks.
Children will wash their hands or use hand sanitizer at the beginning and end of every session (and throughout, if needed!).
We will enforce physical distancing unless the activity prevents us from doing so.
All classrooms and surfaces used during class will be sanitized between classes.
Children registered for NERF camp are encouraged to bring their own NERF guns; however, the Y can provide a NERF gun for the duration of the session, if needed. NERF guns will not be shared.
Enter through the North Entrance or the Main Entrance at Lebanon.
Have your membership card or app ready to scan for a required check-in.
Children can bring their own water bottle. Our no-touch water bottle fillers are working, but vending machines are closed. If they are staying at the Y for lunch, they will need to bring their own lunch. Lunch is not provided.
