Trauma Informed Caregiving is geared toward helping professionals and parents or family members of children from “hard places.” Training provides participants with the 7 Essential Skills of Trauma Competent Caregiving through an examination of the core principles of trauma care, small group discussion, and activities. Training is provided by a professional from Back2Back Ministries and the typical 2-day format will be broken down into 5 Saturday morning sessions to be more flexible for working professionals, parents, and family members. 12 CEU’s are provided to social workers and foster or adoptive parents. Educators and nurses are encouraged to check with their local licensing boards for CEU approval. Free Childcare is provided with advanced registration.

To register:
If a participant wants to take advantage of free childcare for the course, they must register their children in advance so our childcare staff can plan accordingly.
The course will have a limit of 40 participants.
