Dance classes at the Y are a wonderful experience for kids. Whether they are in ballet, tap, clogging, or hip hop they'll have fun and get a workout in, too. Through dance children gain physical strength, flexibility, and coordination. All dance is movement to the beat of different styles of music so children are also learning creative expression. In dance classes children are encouraging one another and practicing together, which allows for new friendships to start.
