YMCA Activities for Active Adults

No matter what your age or ability level, you can find an amazing summer activity at the Countryside YMCA for you.

If you’re wanting to cool off from the summer heat, we offer a variety of aquatic activities for you and your family. These activities include diving classes, water fitness and more.

We offer customized personal training programs with guidance from professionals who can help you lose weight, build muscle, or improve your sports performance. Group fitness activities go on in our gyms and state-of-the-art aquatic center.

Do you already love a particular sport or game and want to find someone new to play with? At the YMCA, you can stop by for a pickup basketball, handball, pickle ball, or Frisbee golf game on a convenient schedule.

YMCA Activities for Creative People

Perhaps you would rather stay inside in the hot summer months and learn a new skill or develop an old favorite. We offer both adult and youth classes in dance, music, cooking, theater, and visual arts. These summertime activities help you explore your creative side and make something tangible you can take home with you to enjoy all year round.

YMCA Activities for Children of All Ages

Parents frequently look for interesting ways to keep their kids and teens busy during the summer months when they are not at school. At Countryside YMCA, programs abound for preschoolers through high schoolers.

One of the best ways to get your kids out of the house this summer is to get them involved in our aquatic programs. They are sure to enjoy getting to cool off in the water, while learning to swim and staying fit

The Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) program offers a great way to bond with other women in the community. Kids and teens can take part in a variety of one-day or season-long classes, events, and summer camps. These range in interest from sports to STEM to crafts and performing arts.

If summer is your favorite time to improve yourself and your life, YMCA stands ready with a host of activities and educational opportunities for you to try. If you prefer staying at home or have transportation issues, consider adding involved in a virtual class or online training sessions.
