From swimming pools and fitness centers to nature trails and disc golf courses, Countryside YMCA has everything for family fun, exercise, and recreation.
Countryside YMCA has everything you need for family fun and physical activity at one of the largest YMCA locations in the United States. We fill our 230,000 square feet with swimming pools, ball courts, playing fields, fitness centers, and fun workout areas. In today’s blog, Countryside YMCA discusses our fantastic facility features.
Swimming pools are a huge draw at Countryside YMCA. We have a comprehensive aquatic facility where guests can take swim classes, participate in swim competitions, or just enjoy the water. The Family Aquatic Center has two pools, one lap pool and another for family fun in the water with a water slide, spouts, tumble buckets, and a water vortex. Our Stolle Center, a private facility for people ages 50 and older, has a warm-water pool that maintains a temperature of 86 to 88 degrees. During summer months from Memorial Day to Labor Day, outdoor pools are a perfect way to cool off from the heat. You can help your baby swim in our infant pool, or you can swim some serious laps in our eight-lane, 50-meter pool.
The rock climbing wall at Countryside YMCA can handle up to six climbers at a time. At 20 feet tall by 40 feet wide, there’s plenty of space to traverse various handholds and obstacles. A boulder area eight feet up spans the entire 40-foot width of the wall, providing a challenge for climbers ages eight and older. We offer rock climbing classes for youth and adults, and we supply harnesses, clips, and belay devices to ensure your safety.
Stroll through 2.3 miles of walking trails or participate in athletic games at the outdoor recreation center at Countryside YMCA. The nature trail traverses wetlands, creeks, a pond, and a small forest. We have a day camp facility used during our summer camps. Baseball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, and an outdoor track will test your physical skills at several games. Check out our 18-hole disc golf course where you can bring your discs or pick one up inside the facility.
The Motion Zone is the active youth center at Countryside YMCA for kids seven and older. Children practice martial arts on three kick towers. They test their timing and hand-eye coordination on the T-Wall fitness gaming platform. Heavyball lets kids move medicine balls from tower to tower as part of a full-body workout. There’s even an Xbox Kinect to play motion-based video games.
The Stolle Center within Countryside YMCA focuses on improving health and overall wellness for people ages 50 and older. Daily social programming includes card games, movies, puzzles, and board games. Enjoy active Wii games or watch your favorite shows on the big-screen TV. Arts and enrichment programs put you in touch with new hobbies while allowing you to socialize.
These fantastic facility features are just some of what we offer here at Countryside YMCA. Come by our location in Lebanon to see what we mean. Affordable memberships give you access to a wide range of activities and facilities to help you have fun and stay fit.
