FREE 3-WEEK SUMMER CHALLENGE LAUNCHES JULY 12

Rediscover sunshine, optimism, and what it means to live Summer Out Loud

The YMCA’s free three-week Summer Out Loud Challenge launches July 12. Opt-in to the free challenge today by texting SUMMER to 844-889-6222. Track your progress on a passport and turn that in to be entered to win a one-year household membership to Countryside YMCA and the national grand prize of a family vacation of your choice (up to $5,000 value). Everyone in the community is welcome to participate; you do not have to be a member of the Y to enjoy the fun! After opting-in via text, follow the prompts to register for the challenge. You will receive three texts a week filled with motivation, workouts, and family fun activities to try throughout the challenge. You can participate in activities like these, found throughout Warren County:

  • 3rd Friday on Mulberry Street - July 16

  • Together We Thrive: Yoga with Karen Tompos - July 17

  • Shakespeare in the Park - July 17

  • Warren County Fair - July 19-24

  • Warren County Music Festival - July 30-31

You can also sign up and participate in these events* at Countryside YMCA:

  • 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament - July 17 - Cottell Park

  • Nature & Birding Hike - July 20 - Hewett P. Mulford Nature Trail

  • Girls Night Out - July 24 - Countryside YMCA | Lebanon

Visit any Countryside YMCA location to pick up your Summer Out Loud passport filled with creative ideas and activities to do together with your family this July. You can also download the passport. To be eligible for the grand prizes, you must opt-in to the challenge and complete and return the passport to Countryside YMCA by Wednesday, August 4. The grand prize winner will be announced on Friday, August 13. “Kids and parents are eager to get out of the house and enjoy some of their most cherished summertime traditions and activities,” said Chris Johnson, Countryside YMCA CEO. “We are excited to provide this challenge as a fun way to spend time together and even to try some new activities throughout Warren County.”
