The Little Miami Learning Center is currently hiring for the following teaching positions (updated July 8, 2019):
Full-time Toddler Teacher - Monday-Friday 9-6. Must have prior experience in a licensed childcare facility as a toddler teacher. Candidate should have a CDA or higher ECE degree or be willing to obtain CDA within 1 year.
Part-time Preschool and Toddler Assistants- Teacher Assistants share the responsibility of preparing and conducting daily child development activities and help to maintain a safe, healthy environment for the children in the center. Schedule M-F either 6:30 am -12:00 pm or 12:00-6:00 pm
PM Floaters-Floaters work throughout the center helping in classrooms and other areas as needed. Floaters will work 5 half days, hours to be determined.
School Age Assistants-School Age assistants will work a split shift on regular school days. Schedule varies on full days (no school days and holidays) and during the summer months.
Subs-Subs will work as needed throughout the building and in varying classrooms as needed
Responsibilities: Our teachers provide a fun & safe learning environment for children in our licensed child care facility. Work in the assigned classroom with the lead teacher to assist with interaction, planning, supervising and implementing the program in accordance with the goals and policies of the YMCA.
Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma/GED. Must pass a background check. Previous experience in licensed childcare is preferred, although in certain positions training may be provided. Full-time positions require a CDA or degree in ECE or similar.
