Child Watch Assistant
Reports to: Cindy Stith
Hours and Days: 10-15 hours weekly, primarily Monday - Friday afternoons (1--5) with some evenings (5-8) and Saturdays (9-12).
Main area of responsibility: The Child Watch Assistant is responsible for the safety and well being of the children in the Child Watch area of the Landen facility. Your responsibility is to emphasize quality childcare standards through activities and interaction with the YMCA participants.
High School diploma or equivalent
CPR/First Aid training
Prior experience supervising children
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Flexible schedule with opportunities to substitute for fellow staff
Strong member service skills; outgoing personality with warmth and understanding to children and their parents
Ability to follow instructions and accept supervision
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a professional manner with others.
Reliable and dependable work attendance.
Minimum 16 years of age

Hours and Days:Saturday 10:15-11: 15 am
Main area of responsibility: Instructs group Zumba a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that welcomes people of all skill and fitness levels. Effectively builds community within the class. Modifies class as needed to meet varied health, ability, and cultural needs.
Requirements: Current Zumba group fitness certification with prior teaching experience.
