Lead Preschool Teacher, Full-Time (posted July 14, 2017)

  • Department:  Children's Center - Lebanon
  • Reports to:  Nikki Stokes
  • Hours and Days:  Monday - Friday from 9 am - 6 pm
  • Main area of responsibility:  The Preschool Teacher works to achieve the mission of Countryside YMCA and to meet the requirements of the SUTQ and ODJFS. Assumes responsibility for the overall classroom including planning developmentally appropriate activities and supervision of the children.
  • Requirements:  18 years of age, high school graduate with an Associates Degree in ECE or CDA.  Must pass a background check and have prior experience in a formal daycare setting.

Part-time Afternoon Infant Teacher (posted July 12, 2017) 

  • Department: Children’s Center – Lebanon
  • Reports to: Nikki Stokes
  • Hours and Days: Monday-Friday, 11:30 am - 6:00 pm 
  • Main area of responsibility: Providing a fun & safe environment for children, working in the assigned classroom with the lead teacher to assist with interaction, planning, supervising and implementing the program in accordance with the goals and policies of the YMCA.
  • Requirements: 18 yrs. old, High School Graduate, Background Check, Child Care Experience preferred with CDA or higher education in Early Childhood Development.  Prior experience with ODJFS and Step Up to Quality.

Afternoon Floater, Part-time (Posted July 14, 2017)

  • Department:  Children's Center - Lebanon
  • Two positions available! 
  • Reports to:  Nikki Stokes
  • Hours and Days:  Monday - Friday, 11:30 pm - 6:00 pm
  • Main area of responsibility:  Provide a fun and safe learning environment for enrolled children in the assigned classroom; work in accordance with the lead teacher and state Step Up to Quality Guidelines.  Interact/communicate with staff members and parents, implement programming in accordance with the mission of the YMCA.
  • Requirements;  18-year-old, High School Graduate.  Must pass a background check.  Prior child care experience with higher education in Early Childhood Education or the willingness to obtain CDA within one year of employment.  Experience with ODJFS and Step Up to Quality.
